Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks a Christian Youth Worker to join our After School team in Longview, TX. Lead elementary students in enrichment activities, modeling Christian values while supporting youth development during 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. school-year hours.

This is a non-exempt, part-time role averaging 17–20 hours per week. The ideal candidate is at least 17, has a high school diploma or GED, and is willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; post-secondary training valued.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and pass background check.
• Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Model Christian values and be a positive role model.
• Support youth development during after-school program hours.
