Mentoring Alliance seeks a Christian Youth Worker to foster youth development after school by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. This part-time, non-exempt role averages 17–20 hours per week and emphasizes Gospel-centered ministry.

The ideal candidate is 17+ years old, aligns with faith, and is prepared to obtain CPR/First Aid certification, pass a background check, and commit to weekday afternoons. Spanish-speaking ability is valued.

Qualifications

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
