Job summary

Mentoring Alliance in Longview, Texas is seeking ministry-minded individuals for its After School team to serve elementary students through enrichment activities. The Part Time Youth Mentor works 17-20 hours per week, 2:00 p.m.

to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year, and is a non-exempt, part-time role. The role emphasizes being a Minister of the Gospel, with expectations to align with our Statement of Faith, obtain CPR/First Aid certification, pass background checks, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license or valid ID.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Be a role model and minister of the Gospel in daily interaction.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for youth.
