Job summary

Bel Canto Chorus is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising, donor relations, and grants management. This part-time role (10 hours/week) works with the Director of Operations, Artistic Director, and the Board Fund Development Committee to implement campaigns, maintain donor records, and report on gifts.

Occasional evening and weekend donor events in Milwaukee require in-person attendance. The position offers a flexible schedule and exposure to all facets of nonprofit fundraising

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in development, fundraising, or grant writing.
• Experience supporting donor relations and fundraising events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor databases (Patron Manager, Salesforce).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual fundraising campaigns and donor appeals.
• Track progress toward fundraising goals and report results.
• Identify and write grant proposals to foundations and corporations.
• Maintain donor records and generate reports; acknowledge gifts.
• Engage donors through meetings, calls, and events.
