Right At School is hiring Educators to work directly with students at participating schools in Washington. You will lead activities, supervise students, support with homework, and help create a safe, structured environment during before/after school programs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of child experience, strong communication, and reliable scheduling. On-site positions offer flexible AM/PM shifts and opportunities to gain real-world education experience while serving the community.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills with both children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records
• Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you’re working with
• Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed
• Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions, ensuring a safe and structured environment
• Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child's day
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports
• Set up and clean up program space and materials each day
• Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff
