The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a part-time Child Watch Attendant in Reston to supervise and engage children, ensuring a safe, fun environment for members and their kids. The role emphasizes active participation, supervision, and diaper-changing duties as needed.

Candidates should be at least 18, with childcare experience preferred, and be able to pass local background checks. The position requires stamina to stay active and communicate effectively with parents and children.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in childwatch preferred.
• Clear the local jurisdiction requirements for criminal background and/or fingerprinting.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with children and parents.
• Must understand and be committed to working with diverse population and to YMCA character development.

• Maintain visual and auditory supervision at all times.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child under supervision and create a playful atmosphere.
• Plan and supervise activities for the children.
