Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking caring and energetic Child Care Attendants to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children at our client site. Part-time hours are approximately 4-6 hours per week; substitute/fill-in hours are flexible and vary with program demand.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Certification: CPR/AED/First Aid within 45 days of hire.
• Knowledge/experience with young children preferred.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet parents and engage with families to understand the child’s needs.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and assist with stimulating games.
• Observe and play with children to support development.
• Ensure children are safe and engaged in activities.
• Participate in activities like reading, painting, crafts, and play.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment; perform other duties as assigned.
