Job summary

HealthFitness is looking for a dependable Part-time Child Care Attendant for our Barrington, Illinois location. You will help create a safe, positive, and fun experience for children during scheduled shifts on Mondays 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and Wednesdays 4:00 PM–7:00 PM.

Opportunities for additional hours may arise as the program grows. Responsibilities include greeting parents, planning engaging activities, and ensuring children's safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with young children or in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with parents, addressing the needs of the child.
• Plan activities for children and supervise age-appropriate games and tasks.
• Observe and engage with children to support development.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment; ensure safety and engagement in all activities.
