Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. in Cranford, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Child Care Assistant to support the Come Play and Learn Early Learning Center.

You will assist the Head Teacher in delivering a comprehensive classroom plan that meets the cognitive, physical, social and personal needs of each child. The role requires supervision of children, confidentiality, and active participation in program activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Experience working with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and safeguard each family/child's right to privacy, respect and confidentiality.
• Provide continuous supervision to all assigned children at all times.
• Assist Head Teacher or designee in facilitating all program activities.
• Be a participating member of the Program Team.
• Assist Head Teacher or designee as directed with implementation of lesson plans.
• Assist Head Teacher or designee as directed in maintaining accurate required records.
• Attend and participate in appropriate workshops and program trainings as approved.
• Assist children in performing self-care activities such as feeding, diapering, toileting, etc.
• Perform additional related assignments requested by the Head Teacher or designee.
