Job summary

Physicians Choice Home Health in California is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our home healthcare team on a part-time basis. You will provide personal care and support to patients in their homes, working with a compassionate team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current California CHHA certification.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions and accurately document services provided.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes.
• Experience in Home Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, hygiene, and hair/nail care.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, dressing, elimination, and linen changes.
• Assist with range of motion and light meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping pertaining to the patient/client.
• Report on the patient's condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.
• Adhere to documentation and care procedures and standards of conduct.
