Job summary

Physicians Choice Home Health is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our home healthcare team. This part-time role offers growth to full-time and provides care to patients in their homes with compassionate support.

Qualifications

• California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions and document services.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes.
• Experience in Home Healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, hygiene, hair and nail care.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and dressing.
• Assist with elimination, linen changes, ROM and light meal prep.
• Light housekeeping pertaining to the patient.
• Report patient condition and significant changes to the nurse.
