Qualifications
- Current California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification, in compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions and accurately document services provided.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to travel to patients' homes.
- Experience in Home Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, hygiene, hair and nail care.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and dressing.
- Assist with elimination and linen changes.
- Range of motion and light meal preparation.
- Light housekeeping pertaining to the patient.
- Report patient condition and changes to the assigned nurse.
- Adhere to care procedures and standards of conduct.
