Friends University in Wichita, KS is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Coach for Cheer to support the Head Coach in supervising and coaching the intercollegiate cheer program.

You will contribute to development, recruitment, retention and day-to-day operations, handle equipment and facility needs, collaborate with the athletic training team, and help ensure student-athlete graduation and success. The role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years' coaching experience in organized dance and choreography preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Strong organization, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality; strong time management and leadership development skills.
• Must be able to work in various weather and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Head Coach in supervising and coaching Friends University intercollegiate cheer.
• Contribute to development, recruitment, retention and day-to-day operations of the program.
• Assist with equipment needs, facility needs and coordination with the athletic training team.
• Support retention and graduation of Spirit Squad student athletes.
