Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the MSHSAA / NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses.
• Strong commitment to the student‑athlete concept and knowledge of collegiate eligibility regulations.
• Ability to supervise and mentor student‑athletes with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate varsity schedule and ensure compliance with MSHSAA standards.
• Oversee practices, contests, and equipment inventory with safety considerations.
• Lead program development and professional growth through clinics and publications.
• Collaborate with the Principal to sustain a strong athletic program.
• Provide statistics and reports to district PR after each contest.
• Supervise staff of assistant coaches and manage fundraising and promotions.
