Job summary

Galoy, a Bitcoin-native fintech, is seeking a hands-on CFO/Controller for part-time work (~10–20 hrs/week). You’ll work directly with the founders to keep our books clean, ensure payroll, and provide investor-ready financial updates for a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a controller, fractional CFO, or similar role, ideally at a startup.
• Experience running multi-country payroll and working with PEO/EOR providers
• Strong command of cap table management and equity administration
• Comfortable managing US corporate tax filings alongside external accountants
• Clear, concise written communication — we're a remote-first, async team

Responsibilities

• Run payroll for US and worldwide team members
• Own the monthly close and maintain a rolling cash forecast
• Manage the cap table (Carta or similar)
• Coordinate the annual tax return with our external tax professional
• Prepare investor reporting and board-level financial materials
