Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the counter.
• Process prescriptions and insurance billing under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Take new prescriptions and refills via written or phone orders.
• Verify patient information and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing and labeling of prescription drugs.
• Stock supplies and file prescriptions; report medication errors.
• Assist in vaccine administration where permitted by law.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area and comply with regulations.
