Job summary

MediLodge of Midland is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents under supervision with daily living activities and basic nursing care. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to supplement income through daily or weekly pay options.

Eligible candidates will possess a CNA certification and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.
• Valid CNA certification preferred or required by state (as applicable).
• Ability to assist residents with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights/bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Assists with feeding and meal portioning.
• Helps residents with ROM exercises and transfers to wheelchairs or activity areas.
• Positions residents in bed and assists with ambulation as directed.
• Measures vital signs and documents results.

Summary

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification

• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Experience

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Job Functions

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
