Job summary

Inspired Living in Ocoee, FL is seeking a Part-Time Certified Medication Aide to support seniors with daily living activities and medication administration. The role works under the Director, Health and Wellness and emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards and patient-centered care.

You will follow service plans, document tasks and changes, communicate with medical staff and families, assist with meals, supervise other aides, and maintain necessary licenses through ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• At least 1 year caregiving experience.
• State-accepted HHA certification or CNA license.
• 6+ months supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to MARs.
• Good medical terminology to coordinate with professionals.

Responsibilities

• Follow services outlined in each resident’s service plan and pass medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Document completion of daily tasks.
• Document observed changes in condition per local rules and policies.
• Communicate resident needs to other Medication Aides for consistent quality.
• Participate in meal service including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room.
• Supervise staff during working hours.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing trainings.
• Follow CQI program and report issues for correction.
• Comply with local, state, and federal rules including HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Work safely and assist with injuries and safety investigations as needed.
