Bristol Glen, a UMC Community in Newton, NJ, is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Aide. Earn $23.00 to $25.55/hour with $2.00 evening shift differential. You will administer meds under RN supervision, monitor glucose, and maintain documentation in an assisted living setting.

Qualifications include High school diploma or GED, NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification, and NJ CNA certification. Benefits listed below; schedule includes 2:00 PM–11:00 PM shifts and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification.
• Current and active New Jersey CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and on time under RN supervision and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor blood glucose levels and assist with insulin administration as directed by individual care plans.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness or concerns and maintain thorough documentation.
• Serve as a supportive point of contact for residents and families, communicating any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Manage incoming medication deliveries and ensure proper storage and organization of pharmacy supplies.
