Bristol Glen, a UMC Community in Newton, NJ, is hiring a part-time Certified Medication Aide to administer medications under RN supervision and ensure timely delivery of care. The role supports residents and families, with attention to documentation and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a NJ-certified Medication Aide and CNA certification, with prior long-term care experience preferred. Evening shifts include a $2 per hour differential and full benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification.
• New Jersey CNA certification.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and on time under RN supervision and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor blood glucose levels and assist with insulin administration as directed by individual care plans.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness or concerns and maintain thorough documentation.
• Serve as a supportive point of contact for residents and families, communicating any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Manage incoming medication deliveries and ensure proper storage and organization of pharmacy supplies.
