Bristol Glen, a UMC Community in Newton, NJ is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to join our team. Earn $23.00 to $25.55 per hour, with a $2.00/hour evening differential, for part-time work.

The role supports residents with medications in an assisted living setting under RN supervision. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification, and current NJ CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Current and active New Jersey CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and on time under RN supervision and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor blood glucose levels and assist with insulin administration as directed by individual care plans.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness or concerns and maintain thorough documentation.
• Serve as a supportive point of contact for residents and families, communicating any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Manage incoming medication deliveries and ensure proper storage and organization of pharmacy supplies.
