Job summary

Capital Region Math is seeking an Assistant Center Manager/Director to support Center Directors across multiple Mathnasium centers in the Capital Region. The role focuses on parent communication, scheduling, enrollment follow-up, daily operations, and ensuring smooth center performance when leadership coverage is needed.

It is a part-time management-track position with approximately 30 hours per week, including afternoon/evening and Saturday availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, tutoring, service, operations or a similar people-focused environment is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with comfort making parent or customer calls.
• Able to prioritize and keep details moving in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to Center Directors across multiple Capital Region Mathnasium centers.
• Step in when a center needs extra leadership support, including when a Center Director is unavailable.
• Support parent calls, follow-up, concern resolution, and day-to-day family communication.
• Assist with lead follow-up, enrollment conversations, and retention touchpoints under center leadership direction.
• Help with scheduling, staffing coordination, cleanliness, materials, and daily center workflows.
• Help monitor the student experience and session flow, escalating instructional concerns as needed.
