Job summary

Mathnasium seeks a motivated leader to support Center Directors and deliver Mathnasium Method instruction. You will assess students, develop learning plans, enroll new students, and coach staff to provide engaging, group-based math tutoring.

Strong math ability through Algebra I, plus interpersonal and organizational skills, are essential. The role involves both teaching and some sales responsibilities in a positive, family-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing learning plans.
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and enrolling students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
• Lead and coach team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement during instructional sessions.
• Mentor and support employee development by on-the-job training.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
