Job summary

Proud Moments ABA seeks a Behavior Technician to join our center-based team. You will provide 1-on-1 treatment in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to children aged 2–15 in a center setting.

The BT plays a critical role, collecting data, implementing plans, and supporting families. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong communication within a fast-paced environment. Part-time hours and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges or developmental delays preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or developmental disabilities preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the treatment plan and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other parties.
• Physically engage with clients as they move around the session area (lifting 25+ pounds, moving, etc.).
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
