Job summary

The UPS Store #3093 is seeking a Part-Time Center Associate to deliver world-class customer service by receiving and processing packages, operating copiers, fax machines, and POS devices. The ideal candidate has retail sales experience, strong computer skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor, with a willingness to learn all product and service offerings and industry trends.

This role requires 25–30 hours per week across a 6-day schedule; physical ability to lift 40+ pounds and a HS diploma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Outstanding phone skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Able to work 25 to 30 hours per week for a 6-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers and team.
• Takes ownership of the customer’s shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
