Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking an entry-level Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery and funeral home grounds in Westlake Village, CA. The role covers mowing, landscaping, debris removal, and assisting with interments under supervision.

Basic tools operation and safety compliance are required, with a strong emphasis on team collaboration and community respect. Education: high school diploma or equivalent; experience in landscaping or physical labor preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months relevant experience in landscaping, general construction, warehouse, physical labor.
• Funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, plows snow, waters lawns, fertilizes and trims shrubs.
• Operates lawn and grounds equipment including mowers, snow blowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers.
• Removes debris and trash from grounds; maintains overall appearance of cemetery, mausoleum or funeral home location.
• Assists in determining location and layout of graves with supervision.
