Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking an entry-level Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery or funeral home locations. Responsibilities include mowing, snow removal, landscaping, and assisting with interments and burial vaults under supervision.

The role requires basic physical labor, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and safe operation of equipment. Prior cemetery or funeral industry experience is a plus; bilingual Spanish helpful and shift flexibility expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months relevant experience in landscaping, general construction, or physical labor.
• Funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, plows snow, waters lawns, fertilizes and trims shrubs, tends flower beds and inspects assigned areas for standards.
• Operates lawn and grounds equipment including mowers, snow blowers, weed eaters and leaf blowers.
• Removes debris and trash from grounds and maintains neat appearance.
