Job summary

Service Corporation International in Everett, WA is seeking an entry-level groundskeeper responsible for maintaining cemetery and funeral home grounds. You will mow, trim, water, and fertilize, operate power equipment, and assist with interments under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in landscaping or general labor preferred.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and basic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, plow snow, water lawns, fertilize and trim shrubs.
• Operate lawn and grounds equipment (mowers, snow blowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers).
• Remove debris from grounds and assist in vermin control and upkeep of flowers.
• Assist in openings/closings for interments and implement burial layout under supervision.
• Perform minor repairs on cemetery property and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
