Job summary

Tri County Transportation is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students on set routes in the Penns Manor School District. You will operate a bus, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure DOT compliance while keeping students safe and orderly. Morning and afternoon shifts run roughly 6:00–9:00 a.m.

and 1:30–5:00 p.m. CDL Class B with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements are required or training will be provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements, or willingness to complete training.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Dependable about time and comfortable managing students.
• Pass a MVR, background check, clearances, a DOT physical and a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive a bus on a set route, morning and afternoon, carrying students to and from school.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and keep the vehicle within DOT requirements.
• Check the vehicle after every route.
• Manage student behavior safely.
