Job summary

Southcentral KY Community & Technical College seeks a Part Time CDL Staff Instructor to deliver Class A CDL range and road instruction at the Franklin-Simpson Campus.

Reporting to the Director of Workforce Solutions, you will monitor student progress, document attendance, ensure trucks are safe, and provide tutoring as needed while filling vacancies due to enrollment.

On-site role with a $25.00 per hour pay and 20 standard hours; availability to support scheduling and program needs is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent and a valid Kentucky Class A CDL.
• Over-the-road CDL driving experience, with a minimum of 2 years.
• Prefers candidates with prior classroom, road, or range instruction experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Class-A CDL range and road instruction to students.
• Monitor and document student progress and attendance.
• Fill vacancies as needed due to enrollment or scheduling.
• Ensure trucks are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
• Deliver high-quality instruction and tutoring as needed.
