College of the Albemarle seeks a Part-time PT Truck Driver Training Instructor to supervise and train students in driving techniques and to administer CDL testing as a third‑party examiner for NC. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a current, valid Class A CDL Driver License with Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Three years of driving experience in the commercial transportation industry as an OTR driver.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train students in proper driving techniques and CDL testing.
• Administer CDL testing as a third party examiner for the State of North Carolina.
• Provide accurate and timely information concerning program availability and courses.
• Orient new students.
• Teach classes; counsel and advise students.
• Maintain all class records.
• Participate in program reviews and planning processes.
• Participate in recruitment activities and marketing initiatives to promote enrollment.
• Work as an integral team member of the Workforce Development Division.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the TDT Program and College.
