Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
3. Assists customers by understanding their needs and helping with merchandise.
4. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions.
5. Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
6. Provides information about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties.
7. Coordinates with customers and truck drivers regarding delivery.

In-stock

1. Plans delivery, prints loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery.
2. Prepares merchandise, builds loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspects products before loading or assisting with loading.
4. Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery status on tracking systems.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Performs vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness, and reports issues.
5. Completes DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
6. Detects security risks and reports them promptly.
7. Maintains store cleanliness and organization.
8. Ensures a safe work environment and follows safety protocols.
9. Operates store equipment as needed.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with specific endorsements depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses or registrations.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 Year semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 Months in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 Months operating a forklift or similar equipment.
