Our client inSandusky is looking for a Truck Driver to make local deliveries!! This is a team-oriented environment and the opportunity for a permanent role in the company. If hired in benefits include health care, employer-paid life insurance, and 401K with a match.

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am to 4:30pm with rotating Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and drive company trucks between facilities
• Pick up and drop off materials to vendors
• Operate a crane, forklift, and/or pallet jack to load and unload trucks
• Packing various parts for overnight shipping requests
• Fuel, maintain, and clean vehicles as needed
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
• Communicate effectively with vendors, team members, customers, etc.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record is required.
• Must pass vision and hearing tests
• Ability to operate and maintain small equipment and various types of vehicles
• Time management skills and punctuality
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of driving box trucks and flatbed trucks
• 1+ year forklift experience in shipping/receiving and/or material handling role
• Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Basic computer skills including printing documents
