Responsibilities:

1. Provides SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise based on their needs.
3. Responds promptly to customer and employee inquiries, guiding them through projects when necessary.
4. Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
5. Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s products.
6. Coordinates delivery with customers and truck drivers.

Essential Functions:

Customer Service

1. Provide excellent customer service consistently.
2. Assist customers in locating and loading merchandise.
3. Respond knowledgeably to questions and guide customers through projects.
4. Show appreciation to customers.
5. Share information about products, features, and warranties.
6. Coordinate delivery and communicate with truck drivers.

In-stock

1. Plan and execute delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise on schedule.
2. Pull merchandise, build delivery loads, and load trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspect products before loading or assisting customers.
4. Verify invoice items with loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensure loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Update delivery and route status in the system.
3. Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
4. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery vehicles.
5. Complete DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
6. Identify security risks and report them promptly.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of store and work areas.
8. Follow safety standards and operate store equipment as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with endorsements as required.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Pass MVR screening.
• Meet legal licensing and registration requirements.
• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
