Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in Athens, GA seeks a part-time nurse/technologist leader to organize and schedule the cardiac cath lab and oversee daily clinical operations. You will communicate with Cardiologists regarding patient care and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires leadership experience, BLS/ACLS, and a graduate from Nursing, Radiology, or Cardiovascular programs; you will assist in budgeting and coordinate staff education to meet annual competency

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in Cardiac Cath Lab
2 years in Leadership/Management
Licensure/Certification/Registration required: RN/RT/RCIS with BLS & ACLS

Responsibilities

Assists in organization and scheduling of the cath lab.
Oversees day-to-day clinical aspects of the cath lab.
Communicates with Cardiologists about patient care.
Develops performance improvement measures.
Assists in planning the departmental budget and maintains financial accountability.
Coordinates educational classes to meet annual competency requirements of staff.
