Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in Athens, GA, seeks an experienced leader to oversee the cardiac cath lab. The role includes organizing scheduling, supervising clinical activities, and liaising with Cardiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualified candidates hold RN, RT, or RCIS licensure, current BLS and ACLS, and have at least five years in the Cardiac Cath Lab with leadership experience preferred. The position emphasizes performance improvement, budgeting, and staff education.
Assist in the organization and scheduling needs of the cardiac cath lab. Oversees the day-to-day clinical aspects related to the cath lab. Communicate with Cardiologists as needed about patient care. Participates in and develops performance improvement measures. Assist in the planning of departmental budget. Responsible for financial accountability within the department. Coordinates educational classes to meet the annual competency requirements of the staff.
Licensure /Certification/ Registration: RN (Registered Nurse), RT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required. Current BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required. Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, Radiology Program or Cardiovascular Program required. Experience: Minimum of five years in Cardiac Cath Lab required, with two years in a Leadership/Management role preferred. Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
