Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a part-time catering team member to support on-campus and off-campus events. You will set up, serve, and maintain food presentation while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating banquet spaces, managing inventory, and delivering timely service. Strong English communication and customer service skills are required to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Must be available every other Sunday 7am - 3pm and Monday through Friday 5am- 5pm. Scheduled shifts will range from 3 - 8 hours.

Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation, taking corrective action as needed to meet standards for freshness, taste, and appearance. Support operational efficiency by organizing banquet spaces, managing inventory, and adhering to delivery and cleanup schedules in a fast-paced environment. Other duties as assigned. Execute catered events and deliveries by setting up, serving, and maintaining food presentation across on-campus and off-campus locations, including physician lounges. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards during preparation, transport, and service, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure timely service, accurate orders, and prompt resolution of issues.

• 1+ catering or high-volume food service [Preferred]
• 1+ food service [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• ServeSafe Certification (SERV) [Preferred]
• Food Handler Certificate (FHC) [Preferred]
