Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an associate to deliver outstanding customer service in our TJ Maxx store. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean and organized selling floor, and support store operations including merchandising, checkout, and loss prevention practices.

Applicants should have strong communication, be able to adapt to changing directions, and work a flexible schedule. Prior retail experience is preferred, and benefits vary by role and location.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and processes.
• Prepares merchandise for sales floor following procedures.
• Participates in store recovery and cleanliness.
• Supports safety and loss prevention initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
