Job summary

Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is looking for an Associate/Cashier to enhance customer satisfaction and support sales growth. The cashier will greet customers, operate the cash register, and maintain cleanliness and order in the store.

Ideal candidates must have strong customer service skills and be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts at times.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register and assures control and accountability of inventory.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains checkout area, displays, and restrooms.
