Join us as a Part Time Cashier at UNFI Canada

Rochester West Cub on Scott Rd. is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time overnight cashier & stocker position. Cashiers at Cub handle front end checkout procedures, maintain positive customer relations, and process orders efficiently. This role involves ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure high service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly
• Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately
• Address customer questions or requests
• Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning

Job Requirements

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, calculators, etc.
• Stand for long periods
• Demonstrate memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Provide ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Exercise good judgment, often without immediate supervision
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 16 years or older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule

• Shifts between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm, varying weekly
• Weekends are required
