REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks compassionate caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Minnesota. Pay is $20.78 per hour for part-time roles, with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven, supportive team.

You will help participants with daily living, build meaningful relationships, promote independence, and encourage community participation.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with developmental needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in favorite activities.
• Build real relationships and provide support guided by participants' goals.
• Support participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
• Take initiative to ensure participants' safety and wellbeing.
