Job summary

Companions Forever is hiring in Connecticut for non-medical home care roles. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and follow each client’s Plan of Care with compassion. A valid driver’s license and vehicle help enable transportation to appointments and activities.

The position offers flexible scheduling across Weekdays, Weekends, overnights, and Live-In shifts, with benefits including PTO, holiday pay, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
