Job summary

Companions Forever is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, and assist with daily activities while delivering companionship and emotional support.

Flexible schedules, weekend and overnight shifts, and ongoing training are available. Perks include benefits, direct deposit, and referral bonuses for bringing in great caregivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance with a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
