Job summary

The Waters is seeking a part-time Care Assistant to provide compassionate personal care to residents, assist with dining, and perform routine homemaking. You will report changes in health status and work as part of a supportive team in a lovely community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1 year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Perform homemaking tasks and maintain a clean environment.
• Respond to changes in health status and report to the resident’s plan of care.
