Job summary

The Waters in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a part-time Caregiver (CNA) for evening shifts (3PM–11:30PM) with every-other-weekend availability. The role includes delivering personal care, assisting residents at meals, and light homemaking in a welcoming community.

Growth opportunities include pay increases through their employee growth program. Responsibilities include charting, reporting health status changes, and collaborating with a team to support residents, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year nursing/resident assistant care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours and shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and updates to the care plan.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Works well with a team to provide a caring environment.
• Block schedules—you'll know what to expect.
• Work is performed in a lovely community.
• Increase pay through the growth program; interview and tour are encouraged.
