The Waters is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide personal care and support in a friendly senior living community in Minneapolis. The role includes assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, dining, and daily activities, with emphasis on teamwork and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year nursing/resident assistant care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours and shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assists residents in dining.
• Performs homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in health status and updates care plan as needed.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with team to maintain a caring environment.
• Follow block schedules and adapt to work in a lovely community.
• Builds relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Participates in growth program and opportunities for advancement.
