Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Howard County is hiring part-time caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to seniors across Howard County, Maryland.

You will support clients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining clear care notes and regular office communication to ensure consistent care.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required
• Willingness to travel throughout Howard County
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting and light housekeeping.
• Prepare meals and help with groceries and transportation to appointments.
• Maintain clear care notes and communicate with the office to keep families informed.
