Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Howard County is seeking part-time caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services across Howard County, Maryland. You’ll support clients with daily activities, keep families informed, and enjoy flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

We value reliability, kindness, and a patient approach. CPR is required, and a background check is mandatory; CNA is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable, and responsible person for meaningful care.
• CPR Certification required.
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• At least one year of caregiving/home care experience preferred.
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Willingness to travel throughout Howard County.
• Pass criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Transport to appointments and run errands in Howard County.
• Maintain clear care notes and stay in touch with the office.
• Support client dignity, safety, and consistent quality of care.
