Job summary

One You Love Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to clients in the comfort of their own homes in Lakeland and surrounding areas. As a caregiver, you'll help clients maintain independence while providing companionship, personal care, and assistance with daily activities.

Flexible part-time shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (home care, hospital, assisted living, or nursing home).
• HHA or CNA certification preferred or applicable state certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance if transporting clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Help clients with mobility and safe transfers
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Offer medication reminders
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition
• Follow individualized care plans and infection control procedures
• Clock in/out electronically and complete required documentation
