Job summary

One You Love Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable male caregiver to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care for a male client in the Lakeland area. This role focuses on maintaining independence with care delivered with dignity, respect, and compassion.

The position offers part-time hours with a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and overnight opportunities as they arise. Training and advancement are available as the agency supports caregivers in growth.

Qualifications

• Current HHA or CNA certification preferred.
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Able to pass Florida Level 2 Background Screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clock in/out using EVV.
• Provide safe transportation for errands or appointments when applicable.

Pay

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed

• Provide medication reminders

• Provide safe transportation for errands or appointments when applicable

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance (if transporting clients)
